Method
- Preheat oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Grease a muffin tin.
- Sift the dry ingredients. Mix the butter into the dry ingredients with a knife until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add the buttermilk and beaten egg and mix until just blended.
- Spoon the soft dough into the muffin tin. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve warm
