Scones

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients. Mix the butter into the dry ingredients with a knife until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Add the buttermilk and beaten egg and mix until just blended.
  4. Spoon the soft dough into the muffin tin. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve warm
