Polish Beetroot
I got this delicious beetroot recipe from my sister in law, Sue. It can be prepared two days in advance. Heat the dish in the micro wave before serving and serve with extra sour cream.
Method
- Heat the oil in a sauce pan and cook until softened. Add the lemon juice, sugar and marmite and mix well. Add the sour cream and mix well.
- Add the beetroot and cook over low heat until the beetroot is warmed through. Spoon the beetroot in a serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill. Serve with sour cream on the side.
