Orange and Lemon Pudding

This pudding forms a delicate crust on top and a delicious sauce underneath to enjoy with ice cream or fresh pouring cream.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a 1-liter ovenproof baking dish.
  2. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the flour and milk alternately.
  4. Add the lemon juice, orange juice, grated lemon rind and melted butter. Mix well.
  5. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.
  6. Turn the batter into the prepared baking dish and place in a pan of hot water and bake for 45 minutes until nicely browned. Serve immediately.
