Orange and Lemon Pudding
This pudding forms a delicate crust on top and a delicious sauce underneath to enjoy with ice cream or fresh pouring cream.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a 1-liter ovenproof baking dish.
- Beat the egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
- Add the flour and milk alternately.
- Add the lemon juice, orange juice, grated lemon rind and melted butter. Mix well.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.
- Turn the batter into the prepared baking dish and place in a pan of hot water and bake for 45 minutes until nicely browned. Serve immediately.
