Nutty Herb Butter

When basic grilled foods, like a superb rib roast, steamed vegetables, fresh seafood or grilled chicken need a little luxury, add a pat of or two of this herb and nut butter.

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until fairly smooth.
  2. Wrap the butter in plastic wrap, roll it into a log and refrigerate until chilled and firm. Cut 2,5 cm slices from the log. Then, when you’re ready to serve the just-cooked steak, vegetables, seafood or chicken, drop a slice of butter on top. The heat of the food will melt it. Serve immediately.
