Indian Carrots and Peas

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the cumin and mustard seeds and cook for 1 minute. Add the turmeric and chilli powder and stir-fry for a few seconds.
  2. Add the carrots and water and cook over gentle heat until the carrots are tender.
  3. Add the peas and garam masala and cook for 2 minutes. Add salt to taste and serve immediately.
